Tile Backer Boards
Tile Backer Boards are great for use in wet rooms and bathrooms, where tiles can be easily laid on top of them. As a rot-proof and waterproof material, it is superior to plasterboard and plywood in bathrooms and wet rooms.
Available in a variety of different thicknesses, Thermopanel Tile Backer Boards are an affordable and cost-effective way of creating a thermal barrier between concrete or wooden susbrates and tiles.
Tile Backer Boards use a fibreglass mesh embedded into a polymer cement surface on top of an extruded polystyrene base. This makes for a perfect tileable surface and also makes them perfect for fixing directly over the top of plasterboard walls or sheet wood floors, creating a waterproof barrier.
