Product Description
JACKOBOARD® Aqua Flat is a wetroom and walk-in shower element designed for use on wooden beam floors. With an ultra-low thickness of just 20mm, it can be integrated within timber frameworks to create a flush, level-access finish. It is also suitable for installation on solid concrete or screed floors.
The shower base is made from extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam, pre-formed with a gradient directing water towards the drain. It is coated on both sides with a polymer-modified cement layer reinforced with fibreglass mesh, providing excellent strength and a reliable surface for tile adhesion. The base is fully waterproof, dimensionally stable and resistant to moisture, humidity and substrate movement.
Please note: this product is not self-supporting. When installing on suspended timber floors, a subfloor must be constructed between joists to provide adequate support.
Thanks to its thermal insulation properties, it is also ideal for use with underfloor heating systems.
