Thermopanel Tile Backer Boards are designed for two primary purposes: providing high-performance insulation for underfloor heating systems and acting as a reliable, waterproof surface for tiling on walls and floors.
Each board measures 1250mm x 600mm, covering 0.75m².

Installation
Concrete Base Floor
Apply flexible tile adhesive using a floor trowel, ensuring full coverage across the surface.
Lay the Thermopanel boards onto the adhesive and press firmly to secure them in place. Seal all joints using joint tape.
Floorboards / Timber Base Floor
You can follow the same method as for concrete floors, or mechanically fix the boards.
Secure boards using Thermopanel MSW36 steel washers and screws at 300mm intervals (approximately 15 fixings per board).
Seal all joints using joint tape to complete the installation.
