Product Description

Kelmore Grout Flex15 is a highly flexible, polymer-modified, fast-setting cementitious grout suitable for both wall and floor applications.

Available in a wide range of popular colours with matching silicone options, Grout Flex15 is suitable for joints up to 15mm wide and features built-in mould resistance.

This efflorescence-free grout has been specially formulated for easy wash-off, allowing the grout to firm up within the joints while still being easy to remove from the tile surface. The result is a clean, durable, and aesthetically pleasing grout finish.

Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including wet areas such as power showers, Grout Flex15 is ideal for domestic and commercial environments.

Manufactured using advanced technologies and high-quality raw materials, Grout Flex15 also helps reduce CO₂ emissions compared to traditional cementitious grouts.

Kelmore Grout Flex15 Colour Range

Coverage

Coverage will vary depending on tile size, tile thickness, and joint width.

The table below provides approximate coverage per 3kg bag of Grout Flex15 for a range of tile sizes:

Mixing

Mix approximately 3¼ parts powder to 1 part clean, cold water by volume.

A full 3kg bag requires approximately 800ml–850ml of water.

Pour the water into a clean bucket first, then gradually add the powder while mixing thoroughly until a smooth, creamy, slump-free consistency is achieved.

Allow the mixture to stand for 2 minutes, then briefly re-mix before use.

If using a mechanical paddle mixer, mix at low speed to avoid entraining air into the product.

Application

Apply the mixed grout using a grout float or squeegee, ensuring joints are fully filled.

Remove excess grout from the tile surface as work progresses.

Once the grout begins to stiffen, clean any remaining residue using a damp sponge. Ensure the sponge is damp rather than wet and rinse regularly in clean water.

After the grout has hardened sufficiently, any remaining haze can be removed using a dry, clean cloth.

At 20°C, grout will begin to stiffen after approximately 20 minutes on ceramic tiles and approximately 45 minutes on porcelain tiles.

Set Times & Service Use

  • Light foot traffic after approximately 3 hours at 20°C
  • Final set achieved after 24 hours
  • Showers should not be used for at least 3 days after grouting
  • External tiling must be protected from frost and rain for 48 hours
  • Underfloor heating systems should not be operated for 10 days after installation
  • Floor temperature should then be increased gradually to operating temperature
