ROCATEX CG2 WA Ultimate Grout is a rapid-setting, fibre-reinforced, flexible anti-mould cementitious grout suitable for wall and floor applications.
Designed for ceramic tiles, porcelain, mosaics, and natural stone with joint widths between 1–20mm, it is suitable for both domestic and commercial environments.
Advanced water-repellent polymers improve colour stability and wear resistance, making the grout suitable for both dry and wet areas, including swimming pools.

Preparation
Ensure tiles are firmly fixed and grout joints are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, adhesive residue, bedding mortar, and any contaminants.
Mixing
Mix 5kg of ROCATEX CG2 WA Ultimate Grout with approximately 1.6 litres of clean cold water until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved.
Use a suitable drill and whisk attachment, mixing slowly for a minimum of 2 minutes to ensure all ingredients are fully dispersed.
Allow the mixture to stand for 2 minutes, then briefly re-mix before use.
Application
Apply using a grout float or squeegee, working the grout deeply into the joints until fully filled.
Remove excess grout as work progresses. Remaining residue can typically be cleaned using a damp sponge approximately 20 minutes after application.
Any dry film can be polished away with a clean dry cloth once the grout has hardened.
Do not apply:
- If frost is forecast within 24 hours
- In wet conditions
- Below 5°C or above 25°C
- In direct sunlight
- Onto hot substrates
Please Note
- Do not mix grout batches on the same installation
- Do not exceed the recommended water ratio
- Allow grout to stiffen before washing excess from tiles
- Use minimal water during cleaning
- Some tiles and natural stone may be susceptible to staining — always carry out a test area first
- Use clean tools and materials during application
- Acid-based cleaners may cause grout discolouration or premature wear
Care & Maintenance
To maintain appearance and durability, grout joints should be sealed using a suitable ROCATEX sealer and regularly cleaned using ROCATEX Tile & Stone Cleaner.
Coverage
Coverage varies depending on tile size and joint width.
Material requirement can be calculated using the following formula (all measurements in mm):
(A + B) × C × D × 1.6 ÷ (A × B) = kg/m²
- A = Tile length
- B = Tile width
- C = Joint width
- D = Joint depth
Storage
Store unopened, off the ground, in a cool, dry, frost-free environment.
