Product Description
Thermopanel 10mm Tile Backer Boards provide a strong, waterproof and thermally insulating surface for tiling walls and floors. Lightweight yet durable, they are ideal for bathrooms, wetrooms and other moisture-prone areas, as well as floors incorporating electric underfloor heating mats or loose heating cables.
With a low thermal conductivity of 0.027 W/mK, the boards help reduce heat loss into the substrate, allowing an underfloor heating system to warm the tiled surface more effectively. Their dimensionally stable construction will not swell or deteriorate when exposed to moisture, while the cement-coated surface provides a secure base for tile adhesive.
Each board measures 1250 x 600 x 10mm and can be easily cut and shaped using standard tools. This pack contains 10 boards, providing a total coverage of 7.5m², together with stainless steel fixing washers for installation onto suitable timber surfaces.
