Thermopanel VeloSeal Self-Adhesive Internal Corner

The VeloSeal self-adhesive sealing system is a fast and efficient solution for sealing bathrooms, wetrooms, and shower areas.

Designed to reduce installation time compared to traditional tanking systems, VeloSeal eliminates the need for mixing or applying adhesives, making installation cleaner and quicker.

Suitable for use with tiled and slab flooring, VeloSeal provides excellent durability and waterproof protection.

Manufactured from polyethylene with a fleece webbing surface for optimal tile adhesion and a self-adhesive backing for easy installation.

Installation

  • Ensure the subfloor is dry, clean, level, and load-bearing before installation
  • Complete any repairs prior to installation
  • Measure surfaces and pre-cut membrane sections before application
  • Clean walls using a brush or vacuum only — do not use a damp cloth
  • Apply a suitable primer to prepare the surface
  • Seal wall-to-floor transitions using VeloSeal sealing tape and corners
  • Gradually remove the backing paper while applying the membrane
  • Use a trowel to firmly press the membrane and remove air pockets
  • Overlap joints by 5–8cm using sealing tape to ensure a watertight seal
  • Repeat the process as required for walls and floors
  • Tiles can be applied directly onto the VeloSeal membrane
  • Apply only at temperatures above 15°C for optimal adhesion
