The VeloSeal self-adhesive sealing system is a fast and efficient waterproofing solution for bathrooms, wet rooms, and shower areas. Designed for quick installation, VeloSeal can reduce installation time by up to 50% compared to traditional tanking kits.
Unlike standard adhesive systems, there is no need to mix or apply adhesives, making installation faster, cleaner, and more convenient. VeloSeal is suitable for use with tiled and slab flooring systems and provides excellent durability and performance.
The membrane is manufactured from polyethylene with a fleece webbing surface for excellent tile adhesion, combined with a self-adhesive backing for easy application.

Installation:
- The subfloor must be dry, level, load-bearing, and free from dust or contaminants that could affect adhesion. Complete any repairs before installation.
- Measure wall surfaces beforehand and pre-cut the sealing membrane to size. Clean walls using a brush or vacuum cleaner only — do not use a damp cloth. Apply a suitable primer to improve adhesion.
- Seal wall-to-floor transition areas using VeloSeal Sealing Tape and Sealing Corners.
- Slowly remove the backing paper from the VeloSeal membrane while firmly pressing it onto the wall or floor. Use a trowel to smooth the membrane outward and remove trapped air pockets.
- Overlap adjoining membrane joints by approximately 5–8cm using VeloSeal Sealing Tape, ensuring all overlaps remain fully waterproof.
- Repeat the process across all required walls and floor areas.
- Tiles can be applied directly onto the VeloSeal membrane once installed.
- Only install VeloSeal products at temperatures above 15°C, as lower temperatures may affect adhesion performance.
